The « 40th anniversary » of its 1982 vintage, recognized as one of the greatest of Bordeaux. A great opportunity to offer this extraordinary wine, now at its peak.
An ideal climate marked by heat

The year 1982 was marked by exceptional climatic conditions with an early and abundant harvest. This vintage benefited from a dry and mild spring.

The flowering, which started at the end of May, developed in June under dry and hot weather conditions until the harvest, alternating with short periods of stormy rains, favorable to the swelling of the berries. The high temperatures of September allowed a harvest of extremely ripe grapes, with low acidity and soft, fine tannins.

1982, a fruity, supple and silky vintage

Planted on a soil composed of deep gravelly hillocks, the vines were 20 to 25 years old at the time. The harvest is done by hand in order to preserve the berries as much as possible. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by a traditional maturation in oak barrels for 12 months.

Composed of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot, it has a clear garnet color. Complex and rich, the nose offers notes of candied red fruits, sweet spices, then a touch of balsamic and chanterelle. The mouth is ample with slightly astringent tannins. The finish is reminiscent of green tea

Ageing potential : After 40 years of ageing, this wine is now at its peak. To be enjoyed now!
