Castelbajac is known as a very eccentric designer which inspirations come from cartoon and street art. For autumn/Winter 2013/2014, houndstooth pattern is the first to open the show on a wool/

Black, white grey, Autumn/winter gets more sophisticated than usual at Castelbajac and we get to see some interesting work on the fabric. A plaid is transformed into a fringed skirt or an asymmetrical dress. The playfulness of Castelbajac is present throughout the collection and we get to see a fox sweater.

Prints get more serious this season : scissors and razor blades, the Castelbajac is edgier and less sweet than the past seasons. Her romantic side is expressed through roses prints ordeal garments and accessories, but we clearly get a feeling that this season, Castelbajac wanted to explore his darker side.

Black, the most sophisticated color of all is very present, and some interesting symmetrical prints ala McQueen are found on dresses and a skirts and mismatched with fur vests or clean cut tops. Stripes are also a part of this show as they introduce the orange color (the clothes are shown progressively in a relevant order).

Wool oversize capes and coats are worn over silk dresses. A nod to the religious setting where the runway show takes place is achieved by the addition of crosses and episcopal imagery.
