For the Spring/Summer 2022 season, Ermanno Scervino celebrates the most authentic DNA of the brand, establishing a deep and emotional connection among past, present and future.
Creating an alchemic link between heritage and the desire to continue seducing, the brand returns to the catwalk with a collection epitomizing the glamorous, feminine and sensual elegance that has always defined it. A play on contrasts steals the spotlight, amplifying a message of beauty and exquisite quality,
which reflects in a wardrobe of special pieces, crafted with the most sophisticated techniques of the Made In Italy tradition. Sartorial and hyper feminine. Day and night. Sport and couture. The rigid boundaries between different worlds blur, in a celebration of a contemporary, dynamic lifestyle, conceived for women who move with grace and lightness in the world, always elegant, in every situation.
Special details are omnipresent, transforming each garment into a small ecosystem to be discovered.
The apparently essential suits cut with fluid and flowing shapes reveal vertical cuts in the jackets and slits in the trousers for new and unexpected volumes capturing the attention. Almost minimal, the sets crafted from cruelty free leather, bonded but ultra light, reflect the concept of « sport couture » dear to the brand, – a versatile, casual, but special way of dressing, also translating into the soft suede cabans and in the colorful anoraks, in a palette of emerald green, yellow and pink, which add a street and fun touch to the collection.
Tops showing constructions borrowed from the world of corsetry match the mannish trousers, while the pleated lace shirt dresses cinched at the waist with belts, putting the focus on the silhouette, encapsulates the most refined spirit of the brand.
Lace is also protagonist in the impalpable skirts with vertical cuts that moving with the body create sinuous harmonies, while its precious texture is also exquisitely recreated in leather and suede for mini bustier dresses and micro tops. Even the knitwear gets special, with the maxi fringed cardigans worn with silver brocade suits creating fascinating light effects. Sequins, embroideries, feathers embellish the garments, for a wardrobe of Ermanno Scervino icons created to accompany women for a long time. Completing the collection’s feminine glamour, feathered stiletto sandals and Mary Jane with chunky heels elongate the silhouette. The bags range underscores the collections’ versatility: chic and functional leather handbags and tote bags are lined with a leopard fabric for a wild touch. Bucket bags with precious lace embellishments are juxtaposed to chained micro bags in vibrant tones and metallic clutches covered with a cascade of sequins and feathers.
