DUNHILL PARIS FASHION WEEK ONLINE
As part of the Paris Fashion Week Online schedule, dunhill presents ‘Public Information Film’; an evocative video reflecting on the House’s journey from past eras to the current day.
From the Jermyn Street store in the 1980s, to the most recent runway shows in Paris, a juxtaposition of archive and current footage documents the development of signature products that are still prevalent today. Celebrating these contemporary icons and the longstanding design codes they represent.
‘I am excited to be part of the Paris Fashion Week Online schedule, taking this moment to acknowledge the evolution of dunhill. I felt strongly about documenting the progression of iconic products from the House and stand behind their unique sense of design. It’s important to give value in consistency at a time when everything as we know it is in change,’ says Mark Weston, Creative Director of dunhill.
The Autumn Winter 2020 show soundtrack intersects the film; an original composition by musician Moses Boyd in collaboration with the poet James Massiah. Both members of the dunhill Community, their work amplifies the creativity at the House, reinforcing Mark Weston’s modern vision – a thoughtful interplay of House heritage and contemporary elegance.
