KOCHÉ EMBELLISHES AW20 COLLECTION WITH OVER 100,000 SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS AT PARIS FASHION WEEK
Koché debuted its Autumn/Winter 2020 collection at Paris Fashion Week, with support from Swarovski in the form of over 100,000 glittering crystals. The collaboration with designer Christelle Kocher forms part of Swarovski’s ongoing #CrystalOnTheCatwalk initiative to support inspirational fashion talent.

For this collection, Swarovski beads, sew-on stones and crystal pearls forming geometric shapes were used to embellish patterned motifs on a fully crystallized denim cape, shirts and trousers. Crystals also appeared on leotards, leggings and accessories, including jewelry and shoes.
Christelle Kocher commented: “Swarovski has been the first to support the brand, since the first season. It is very important for me to use couture craftsmanship techniques but in a contemporary and fresh way so that they continue to exist. I wanted to bring a streetwear vibe to this collection using democratic fabrics such as denim but mix it with couture cuts and crystal embroideries to create a precious yet accessible wardrobe.”
This was Swarovski’s ninth collaboration with designer Christelle Kocher who was the winner of 2019’s ANDAM Grand Prize. Kocher also currently serves as artistic director of Lemarié, the Parisian Métiers d’Art feather and floral embroidery house, and last week showed as guest designer for the Italian fashion brand Pucci in Milan.
