Sir Elton John et David Furnish organisaient en Novembre le dîner de gala annuel de la « Elton John Aids Foundation » à New-York, soutenue notamment par la Maison Bvlgari.
La générosité des invités a permis une levée de fonds de 3.9 millions de dollars en faveur de la lutte contre le SIDA.
Les hôtes de la soirée, Sir Elton John et David Furnish mais aussi les célébrités Gala Gonzalez, Caroline Daur, David Alexander Flinn,
Gabriel Day-Lewis, John Steiner, Olivia Perez, Samantha Angelo, Natalie Suarez, Dylana Suarez et Yvonne Sciò avaient choisi des pièces Bvlgari pour sublimer leur tenue.
Fière de son rôle de sponsor, la Maison de joaillerie a offert à la fondation Elton John un collier Serpenti Seduttori mis aux enchères lors de cette belle soirée.
