Louis Vuitton et le Fonds des Nations Unies pour l’Enfance (UNICEF), organisme d’action humanitaire et de développement, ont signé un partenariat mondial pour venir en aide aux enfants les plus vulnérables. Cette alliance a pour ambition de récolter des fonds et de soutenir l’action de l’UNICEF en protégeant les enfants contre les catastrophes naturelles et les conflits.
L’UNICEF est présente avant, pendant et après les crises pour apporter aux enfants la protection, les soins, l’eau salubre, l’alimentation et l’éducation qui leurs sont indispensables. Outre l’action qu’elle mène avec ses partenaires pour sauver la vie et protéger les droits des enfants, l’UNICEF combat également à travers ses actions, les causes impactant directement les conditions de vie des enfants dans les zones à risques.
Dès le 13 janvier 2016 et tout au long de l’année, le Silver Lockit, spécialement conçu pour l’occasion, sera vendu dans l’ensemble des magasins Louis Vuitton et sur www.louisvuitton.com/lvforunicef. Pour chaque collier ou bracelet Silver Lockit acheté, 200 $ seront reversés à l’UNICEF.
Véritable symbole de protection, le Silver Lockit est inspiré de la serrure à gorges, inventée par Georges Vuitton en 1890. Inviolable, cette serrure protégeait tous les accessoires que les clients rangeaient dans leurs malles.
En parallèle du lancement du Silver Lockit et à l’occasion de la sixième édition de l’UNICEF Ball, le 12 janvier à Los Angeles, Louis Vuitton présente #MAKEAPROMISE, une campagne digitale ayant pour objectif de sensibiliser le public et de récolter des fonds au profit de l’UNICEF.
