CoSTUME NATIONAL takes on the same inspiration as the menswear show in Milan and focuses on tailoring and dark color for Autumn/Winter.
Suede, leather and silk are mixed and give off a very elegant, yet daywear-oriented vibe to this collection.

The set list for this show is grungy with a very in-your-face attitude. So are the looks.
Dark blue, black, white and subtle and rare shades of red makes for the color palette of this season.
The silhouettes range from boyish and androgynous to glamorous and romantic yet they all have strikingly minute details which give coherence to the ensemble.
Tailoring is at the center of this collection and draping serves two purposes : it either embellishes the pieces of garment (on the blouses and shirts) or embellishes their movements to an almost dramatic level.

The woman at CoSTUME NATIONAL is edgy, versatile. She can pull off gowns and privilege sophisticated looks to go for a tomboy look and wear long pants of incredible volumes with capes and blouses.

This collection captures the versatility of the woman and the many occasions of her day through a well cut wardrobe and demure colors.
