Pierre Garroudi’s fashion show was one not to miss with his beautifully designed collection and the model’s very creative headpieces. In fact, no other fashion show seemed to be as much fun for the audience as well as for the catwalk models who, taking turns in the spotlight, stood and stopped walking to get into very creative stills for the benefit of the photographers as well as the audience. The show with its humour and creativity marked the end of yet another fashion focused day.
All in one shade of turquoise blue and in his signature silk material, the collection was very maritime, very seductive and very lively. Dresses seemingly woven to imitate fish nets, to shells, paper and flowers, used to accessorize the dresses were sewn together to illustrate organic shapes, adorned with headpieces in the same colour, and illustrating maritime fauna and flora, made the show a very unique experience in terms of construction and inspiration. Needless to say, it seemed to be a tribute to the sea, and to nature in some cases.
A seduction for the eye and a free ride into the world of creative fashion, the designer succesfully managed to impress his audience.
