The fun loving shapes and drapes of the 80’s as interpreted through the eyes of a contemporary urban adolescent was the conclusion of Miss Sixty’s S/S 2010 collection.
Presented to a bundle of fashion editors at the London flagship store the presentation saw the label somewhat tone down the uber glamourous look we have come to expect.
The label presented surprisingly mature injections in their daywear with various interpretations the colours of the earth and sky.
Light blues were matched with beige and browns, Emerald green, geranium red surfaced in maxi floral print dresses matched with re-interpreted gladiator sandals.
It was casual yet still fun and young.
The evening wear stayed much more true to Miss Sixty’s young glamour with electrifying colours of the ‘80s
Purples were matched with yellows, cobalt blues, silver and gold worn over acid coloured thousand-stripe t-shirts.
Whilst dresses and tops were given a customised edge with original photo prints, laminated and metal fabrics, finished off with rock-star type of leather jackets and studded belts.
As far as trend goes Miss Sixty S/S 2010 does not miss a beat.
With their youthful mixture, of fun-loving ,easy-going fast fashion, the label is sure to prove a hit with young fashionistas
